Welcome to Off Campus Housing

Welcome to Yale University and the City of New Haven! This web site has been designed to help ease your move into the exciting and diverse City of New Haven and its surrounding areas. It includes information on long and short term housing options, finding a roommate, maps of New Haven and the Yale Campus, information on renting property and links to additional resources and information.

Yale Off Campus Housing service is a key resource for your housing search. Many New Haven area landlords and home sellers list their properties with our service. Rental listings include long term (more than six months) short term, sublets and shares (tenants looking for roommates). The service allows for the insertion of pictures of your property in jpeg format.

You can view available properties for rent and sale at Search Property Listings with a Yale Net ID or if you do not have one yet. For those who do not have their Net ID, they can set up a User Profile and password to create and ID and password to use the system. Assistance is available by reviewing the links to the User Guides listed below.

The fee for placing a listing is $45.00 which covers 45 days. It is possible to renew these listings at the end of each time period. On-line payment is available through Master Charge of Visa. For students who are looking to list a share situation, with a valid Yale ID, they can obtain a discount for a $10 fee by calling our office.

This information also provides sale listings.  The information is available to anyone with a affiliated with Yale University to look for a place to live.  Advertising does not require an affiliation with Yale.
